I have been wanting to write this blog for a very long time, an open letter my all of my single friends. First, I want to let you all know that I love you with a sincere love and that is the reason I am writing you.
God wants what is best for you
One of the first things I want to share with you is that, God loves you and wants you to have the very best He has to offer you. I know this sounds very cliche and maybe even a bit cheesy, but it's very true.
For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
Psalm 84:11
The only condition we see in this verse is to "walk uprightly"and no good thing will He withhold from us. So, if you want God to shower all His many blessings down upon you, walk upright.
Looking for love in all the wrong places
Another thing I wanted to let my single friends know is, you can't look for love in all the wrong places. I know it can be easy to get caught up in the hype of hanging out, going to bars, restaurants, clubs, parties and other social avenues with the intent to meet nice men, but honestly, are these really the type of men you want to marry?
I know they may smell good, look great, make tons of money, drive expensive cars, and live a nice, fast life, but does he know God?
He may be able to tell you all the things you've longed to hear, take you to places you've never been, experience adventures once reserved only for your dreams, but can he lead you to be better relationship with God?
He may be the tall, dark, handsome man who stepped right out your dreams, but has he accepted and surrendered his life to Christ?

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
2 Corinthians 6:14-15
